We are searching for a local hero to turn on Newmarket's Christmas Lights for 2025

After several fantastic years, we are bringing back the search for a local hero to turn on the Newmarket Christmas Lights!

We're looking for individuals that deserve to be recognised for their work during the last twelve months.

Nominations are open between Monday 8th September - Sunday 28th September 2025, after which judges will consider the applications and our two final winners will be selected on Monday 13th October.

Please note, all nominees must be available on Friday 21st November from 6pm for the Lights Switch On event.
