Help Us Find Our Local Heroes

The search returns! We are searching for two local heroes to turn on Newmarket's Christmas Lights for 2023!

After a fantastic event last year, that saw nominated heroes Alex and canine Kratu turn on the lights, we want to invite the public to vote for the chosen two this year.

We're looking for individuals that deserve to be recognised for their work during the last twelve months.

Nominations are open between Monday 25th September - Sunday 8th October 2023, after which judges will review the nominees and a final winner will be chosen on Monday 16th October.

Please click here to enter your nomination.

Please note, all nominees must be available on Friday 17th November from 6pm for the Lights Switch On event.
