Since the opening of our Long Melford office in 1995 we have grown to open further offices in Clare, Castle Hedingham, Woolpit, Leavenheath and Newmarket. Our latest office in Bury St Edmunds opened for business in 2014 and there are plans for further offices across the region.
Founder, David Burr, is a Chartered Surveyor who has been part of the region’s property market since 1978. He is ably assisted by a highly professional team of managers, experienced negotiators and support staff dealing in all aspects of Sales, Lettings and Management.
Our Newmarket team is underpinned by its local knowledge with staff that live in the area and enjoys over 30 years of combined experience in both residential sales and lettings. Luke Johnson heads up our Newmarket office having joined the company after leaving the close by city of Cambridge. Having grown up in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire all of his life and being an estate agent for many years in the area he’s passionate about the area and the expansive selection of property the counties offer. In his spare time you’ll likely find him enjoying the countryside further with a run, dog walk or even a drink or a bite to eat in one of the many desirable pubs and restaurants locally.

Newmarket Day Centre is a successful, independent community resource based in the heart of Newmarket.
The charity believes in and promotes the importance of maintaining a high quality of life in older age. We aim to combat loneliness and depression, support independence and social inclusion and retain self-worth.
You do NOT have to be a member to attend, just pluck up the courage to walk through the door and you will be welcomed; Our only requirement is that you are aged 50 or above. You are however, permitted to bring guests of any age along with you.
We have people from all walks of life who regularly attend for food, fun and friendship.
We also offer comprehensive day care provision if required. You can self-refer to us or contact your GP or social services for a more formal referral.
The atmosphere at the day centre is friendly and vibrant – not at all what some people may expect!
We pride ourselves on our wide and varied activity and entertainment program which includes themed event days with live musical entertainment, street parties, race days and much more.
We have a small team of 9 who are all friendly, helpful, and dedicated. The team are supported every day by a number of volunteers old and new.
