Newmarket Kings Theatre is the resident home for Nomads Operatic Musical Dramatic Society (NOMADS LTD) and young NOMADS.
NOMADS are an extremely active society – as we own our own Theatre we have a full calendar of shows each year which include both shows performed by the Society and a number of outside productions.
NOMADS normally perform two musicals, one pantomime and three plays during a calendar year. NOMADS also have a thriving Youth Section for 9 – 18 year olds, which meets weekly and also performs one musical and one play per year.
Due to the high work load of the Society we are always on the lookout for new talent to help us. We welcome new members to help out with every aspect of theatre, whether that be acting, singing, dancing, stage crewing, lighting and sound technicians, musicians, costume helpers, bar staff, Box Office and front of house staff.
Lida Vets was formed in 1991 by husband and wife Josh and Liz Lida. We swiftly moved into our present premises and set out to be an independent practice dedicated purely to small animals.
Over the years we have grown and developed our services but we remain a family-run team working to the same principles. Most of our staff are local and have worked with us for many years.
Our goal is to bring a fresh approach, high-end and affordable health care to our closest friends - our pets.

Newmarket Library provides a wide variety of books, DVDs, magazines, maps, free internet and historical information including a specific Racing Collection. The library also provides a wide range of activities and events for all to enjoy.
The library has an out-of-hours book return service, two public car parks close by, photocopying, printing and scanning as well as shopmobility.
